Happy 4th of July

Tomorrow I’m leaving for Martha’s Vineyard where I’ll be facilitating a group of executive directors and senior staff members at a gathering of nonprofit organizations brought together by a specific donor. His intention is to uncover the root cause of the world’s problems and attempt a solution to resolved it. Please check out Up the River Endeavors and see the creative application of donations and hard work.

As we celebrate July 4th here in the United States, I am grateful for the freedoms I have; freedoms I often take for granted. That’s part of the grace of it. Yet it’s important to remember as I watch the struggle towards democracy in countries throughout the world, to spread my awareness and gratitude along side the mustard and on top of the ice cream cone I enjoy today. Give peace a chance.

Let freedom ring.
